Mindfulness Reflections

Journal

A running note of what I have added or changed on the site, newest first. If you only check one page to see what is new, make it this one.

  1. A breathing timer, one menu everywhere, and a plainer About page

The breathing timer is the first tool here that is not about words. It paces box breathing, 4-7-8, and the physiological sigh with a slow visual cue, so you can follow along without counting in your head.

Every page now shares the same menu at the top, so the guides, collections, timer, and this journal are always one tap away. Each gallery quote now shows who curated it and when.

I also rewrote the About page to say exactly how things are made: which parts are AI-written within prompts I wrote, and which parts I write and edit myself. And there is now a short newsletter if you would like a note when new guides go up.

  2. Seven new guides, and sources for the older ones

I added seven new how-to guides: mindfulness for sleep, Sunday dread, self-compassion, mindful breathing, grieving gently, mindfulness at work, and the body scan. Each one is built around a short practice you can do the same day.

I also went back through the earlier guides, checked their factual claims, and added sources at the foot of each page so you can read the research yourself.

  3. Mindfulness Reflections goes live

The first version of the site went up today: the reflection tool, a set of collections for particular moments, and the first guides. It is small on purpose. I would rather add one careful page at a time than many hurried ones.

A quiet note when new guides go up

One short email from me when I publish a new guide or tool, usually once or twice a month. No daily quotes, no tracking pixels, and you can leave any time.

I only use your email to send these notes. See the privacy page.
